rich, creamy, but not heavy or greasy

Overall, I think this mask (or overnight hydrator) delivers exactly what it promises: skin that looks more “healthy” and feels much more comfortable by the morning. Would I repurchase? Yes — especially because of the glow and hydration boost. If you have sensitive or very dry skin, just patch test first and maybe use it a few times a week at first.

Best for dry skin!

This creamy mask is truly hope in a jar for dry skin! It deeply moisturizes and absorbs without grease. Wake up with a refreshed glowing complexion, visibly smoother and softer skin. The gentle glycolic acid is a bonus.

Thicc cream

This cream is THICC!!! Very heavy duty looking but great moisturizer and has AHA so great for my dry mature skin. I love the light fragrance and it’s a great night cream for face and neck.

Great product

I absolutely love this product I use it as a “top layer” to lock all of my products in. Great ingredients, smells really good. Almost like a gel like texture, which is why it’s so nice to be on top. Been using it for over a month and I love it.

Glowy skin in the morning

This mask feels thick going on but sinks in fast without any greasy mess. It smells lightly citrusy—fresh, not overpowering. My skin felt super soft and looked more glowy by morning. Great for dry or dull skin when you need a hydration boost. Just a heads-up: it does have fragrance.

This really is, "Hope in a jar!"

I just want to start of by saying this this mask has done amazing things for my face! It is what it says it is, "Hope in a jar!" The texture feels so good on my face and the smell isn't even close to overpowering and even after just the first time that I had used it, I swear, my face was glowing the next day and I of all people have some of the worst most sensitive skin ever but this did nothing but wonderful things for me and my face and my appearance and to this day I'm still using it as it's a pretty big jar and I ain't switching to nothing else or turning back since it now took me years and years of my life to finally find something that works for me and my face to give me my confidence back!

Great for dull, dry skin

The Hope in A Jar mask is quiet effective. It has the emollient properties of a nice creamy formula with the soothing properties of a gel-textured mask. I love that there's absolutely no scent! I did feel a slight tingling the first two or three nights I used it, presumably due to the glycolic acid, but it was very mild and dissipated very quickly. My skin is relatively sensitive and I experienced no visible irritation either. When using this product, I wake up with soft, "plump" skin. It is not greasy, but it is definitely not dull. The black glass packaging also offers nice curb appeal.

A good product, lightweight and gentle!

The philosophy hope in a jar deep hydration & glow overnight mask has made me a fan of philosophy products! The texture is thick but is lightweight and doesn’t leave a greasy feeling! The scent is clean and soft, which is great for a sensitive skin girl like myself.
